I think I was sent the Boxer rather than the mid-cut, but other than the length of leg (which does have a bearing on how I use the garment) the rest is the same. I purchased the garment as Bike underwear - I've been trying to get away from typical bike shorts with the pads because the don't fit that well, nor feel that well. I tried using compression shorts but that creates it's own problems with the genitalia - they tend to get in the way of the cycling action - the Ergowear products essentially lift and put forward your genitalia and thus by genitalia don't even get close to touching the saddle, let alone the horn of the bike - up and out of the way of my biking. Now, if I can just get the proper leg length so that they don't ride up or feel as though they are...
